@DocLibertarian I was a 16 year old baseball player experiencing severe shoulder pain and weakness. An MD told my parents I was showing drug seeking behavior and denied an MRI. I was later diagnosed with a torn labrum after missing a season.
Some patients are idiots. But so are some doctors
@JonahDispatch And I remember when you lying about the ACA, advocating for its destruction and helping undermine the aspects that kept care affordable. You can’t complain about the fire when you’re one of the arsonists. Well, you can complain but it makes you an absolute clown
@saiyanhajime@gritsngoblins Then they were prepare poorly. And remember that polenta exists, which is basically the same thing, just a different type of corn
@PatrickHeizer What value? The company loses money. Income comes from government contacts that are created by the company lobbying against NASA doing the same function.
@JonahDispatch The thing is you wouldn’t. The company that bought your invention would. Why do you insist on arguing in bad faith and just generally being a jerk?
@bluedoggeosh I used to agree. But one side decided that winning was more important than values and being the worst person became an asset (I’m looking back at the hypocrisy of Newt Gingrich).
The right mocks those with values as weak (see Talarico) and calls the left hypocrites for Platner.
@FrankBr05713205 So long story short, the restaurants don’t do it. The holding companies and consulting companies do and the restaurants are left dealing with rightful frustrated customers
@FrankBr05713205 When the app launches, usage is low. So the consulting company is asked for solutions and someone says ‘carrot and stick’ in a meeting, so they build deals into the app that force the user to use the app. The carrot is the deal, the stick is the 40% price increase if you don’t
