Ok - nice sign. Now - let’s talk about the details, ignoring sort of political spin as best we can.

The government is offering teachers a 12% increase, up to 17% over time with adjustments. I’m not clear on what teachers are demanding.

With a 12% salary increase, Alberta teachers will earn between $72,952.32 and $113,130.00 per annum - higher than all other relevant comparison salaries in Canada - combined with our lower cost of living and lower tax rates.

The government is also hiring 3000 new teachers and 1500 class aids. Seems reasonable to me. How is this “unfair” in your opinion?

All while advising Trudeau to increase carbon tax and place restrictions on Canadian energy.
