Instead of building more questionably profitable pipelines to transport gas domestically, companies prefer export terminals to sell at higher international prices. This has been happening in many countries.

It’s actually simpler for voters because there’s no tricky deciding who the least bad of the two candidates who seem to be doing better in unreliable polls. Voters can either rank the candidates simply or just vote for 1 and skip the rest.

@oakieone @au_tom_otive I regularly do 500 mile round trips where I spend less time charging than I would fueling a petrol car: get food (car charged); sleep at destination (car charged); stop for facilities (car charged). So a 300 mile round trip would take less time than refueling too.

@Sammy_Roth @HirokoTabuchi I had thought the breakeven leak rate was 2% as the GWP of CH4 is ~25x that of CO2 and combustion produces half as much CO2 as coal. Is there a summary of why they think it’s only a tenth of that?
