The Scottish Living Wage Campaign is a coailition of organisations and faith groups campaigning for a living wage for every worker in Scotland

Low-pay, precarious work and high transport, childcare and housing costs mean that too many workers are locked in poverty.

This election, we need all political parties to commit to action that will boost workers' wages and bring security and flexibility to the labour market.

Work should help to support people out of poverty, yet two-thirds of children in poverty in Scotland live in working households.

We need to design our labour market to work for everyone.

Glenrothes was today announced as the first town in the UK to be awarded recognition for its plan to become a Living Wage Town. In the first year, the plan aims to triple the number of Living Wage employers accredited in the town.
