@laurenfleshman Most men’s races are 8k now anyway. They only run 10k the last few meets. We moved to 8k for all in Canada a few years ago and it has been fine. There was years of debate before it happened about how it would ruin the sport. Not so. Athletes adjust. It’s the coaches that fight it

Just announced that it might be another ‘10 or 15 minutes’. I assume it will be much longer. Should have been home over an hour ago and I think it will be 2 more hours at least. Should be full refund for this debacle

@AirCanada, canceling a morning flight in less than 10 hours is ridiculous. Re-scheduling for a day later with more stops is unacceptable. Being on hold for almost an hour trying to re-book using the number you provided is embarrassing… I need a solution and reimbursement ASAP

@nickwillis @csgotrk @WorldAthletics I disagree. Tactics and round fatigue are important factors in Championship racing. Plenty can run one race time trial but struggle with recovery for multiple efforts in a few days. Many (like you!) can do both, but rabbited racing and Championship racing are different skills
