Building India's foundational marine robotics layer.
Autonomous surface cleaning ⚡️
Predictive Water Intelligence (WaaS).
Developed at RVCE, Bengaluru. 🇮🇳
@anandmahindra@anandmahindra Sir,we’re a team of engineers building autonomous robots to clean India’s lakes and rivers. You once called for this kind of technology, and we’re building it right here in India. All we need is one opportunity to prove it and scale this mission across the country
India’s lakes can’t wait.
🇮🇳 SCRUB Robotics is raising capital and seeking industry partners to scale autonomous lake-cleaning technology across India. Let’s turn innovation into impact. 🌊

@IndianGems_ We need solutions that continuously restore our waterbodies while also helping people understand the importance of protecting our natural resources.
@WarMonitorINTL We need solutions that continuously restore our waterbodies while also helping people understand the importance of protecting our natural resources.
@vibs98 Exactly! We’re starting with waterbody cleaning, but there’s a lot more to solve. The goal is to build practical robots for real problems, right here in India.
Thinking about applications India needs:
+ Cleaning lakes and drains
+ Managing waste
+ Maintaining industrial floors
+ Inspecting pipelines
+ Working in hazardous environments
Repetitive, difficult jobs where automation can make a real difference.
What I like about this is the focus on a real Indian problem.
80% indigenous - encouraging too.
@orgyanesh@RuntimeBRT Absolutely agreed but the 25 kg capacity is per cycle, which lasts around 15–20 minutes depending on debris density. Under optimal conditions, it could collect up to 75 kg/hour.
Also, our industrial V1 version will have a 50 kg (110L) capacity.
Hello everyone I'm Krishna from Bangalore 👋🏻
I build @ScrubRobotics , an urban water body cleaning company for Bengaluru's lakes.
Lmk if you're interested in collaborating, providing mentorship, etc. My DMs are open!
Our robot is already in:
- Kengeri Lake BLR
- Madiwala, BLR
@rajeshsawhney Hello sir!
We are a team of innovators who have already developed these kind of robots and deployed it in Bangalore itself to clean our lakes and rivers, do check us out!!
@anandmahindra Hello sir, you once asked Indian startups to make an autonomous robot for lake cleaning in india, we built it!!
Now we need your help to test this in the entire india.
Currently being tested in Bengaluru!
A big day for SCRUB as we deployed at Madiwala Lake, Bengaluru.
This is just the beginning. We’ll keep working until no human risks their life entering water bodies for cleaning.
We’d appreciate your support @caleb_friesen@thebetterindia@Rainmatterin ❤️
@caleb_friesen Hey @caleb_friesen , we are building autonomous robots to clean our lakes and rivers here in bengaluru.
Would appreciate if you can take a look.
