@SpotASharkUSA featured shark Claud was named after Claud Hull, one of the first SCUBA divers off the NC coast who helped locate many wreck sites sand tigers are known to visit. Claud the sand tiger shark has scars that make him easy to recognize along with his beautiful spots!

While they may look intimidating, the endangered Ozark hellbender is a gentle giant. These aquatic salamanders require cool, clean streams & rivers with large rocks. You can help protect hellbenders by leaving rocks where they are - don't stack or move them.

🐢 Stop to move them only if you can SAFELY PULL ENTIRELY OFF THE ROAD.

🐢 Grasp the shell firmly.
DO NOT fumble the turtle.

🐢 Move the turtle off the road in the direction it was already heading.

🐢 Then go back to minding your own business.
