@Chosen156159 He's an airline pilot and is probably away for several days a month. His wife is likely looking for security while her husband is away. The dog looks very gentle but would intimidate an intruder.
Military wives whose husbands deploy regularly always seem to have large dogs.
@TheFP Marylin Mosby’s soft on crime policies increased the annual number of murders in Baltimore by about 100/year. In the decade Mosby was the States attorney, there ~ 1000 extra murder victims. Most victims were black. That is not racial justice.
@RogerPielkeJr If it’s a global problem then why do developing countries get a free pass? $10-12 trillion have been spent on climate mitigation & annual global CO2 emissions increase by 0.5 billion tons annually, almost doubling since 1995. Colossal policy failure with no accountability.
@RogerPielkeJr The real inconvenient truth is the government will fund scientists that are likely to give them the answer they need to support a policy they want to fund.
@RyanWeather Dealing with dry heat & no air cond. isn't difficult if you're in a bldg or residence where windows open. Open all windows when T drops below 80, draw air in with fans, keep them open until temps rise to 72 next morning, close windows & circulate internal air with fans. Repeat
@CvQuesty@MatrixMysteries It was set up that way when the Obamacare bill was passed. That's why the Dept. of Education took over student loans as it was expected to generate $8.7 billion for healthcare. The extra interest paid by students to cover that amount of money was $2200 over 10 years.
@nicksortor It's worse than that. LA Times has a piece blaming white racism. Quote from article "The white power movement has a long history here, going back to the days when the Ku Klux Klan could march freely through Orange County and skinheads rocked out to punk in Huntington Beach."
@fransawerf@RogerPielkeJr@marcelcrok@borenbears Keep in mind that the people who think they can control the climate can’t control emissions. After 30 years of climate emergency, CO2 emissions increased from 22 billion tons in 1995 to 38 billion tons in 2025. They just moved from N America & Europe to Asia.
@RogerPielkeJr@JohnStossel Think of the amount of money that flows through universities to study the climate impacts. Fear means funding. If the extreme weather today is the same as it was 80 years ago, why does the government need to fund apocalyptic narrative papers? Roger throws a wet blanket on that.
@ephraimbismuth@elonmusk A theoretical world or an echo chamber? Theory begs to be challenged and verified. An echo chamber seeks validation through consensus. After all if everyone in the room agrees, it must be true.
@RyanWeather How can they claim success when global CO2 emissions have increased from ~22 billion tons in 1995 to 38 billion tons in 2025 & continue to increase at a rate of 0.5 billion tons per year? Sure, regional emissions may be down but the energy intensive industries just moved to Asia.
@BigJoeBastardi Michael Mann managed to prove in a court of law where he was the plaintiff that he has absolutely no credibility and it cost him his opponents attorney's fees. A person with proven dishonesty and a big mouth can only make a fool of himself.
@SaiKate108@farsaid_fenius I have a close friend from Church who got a combo COVID & flu vaccine in Sept 2024. Within a couple of days both his nervous system & immune system shut down. He spent 3 months in the hospital & has not returned to church because he still has little muscle control. Very sad.
