@GodPenuel Imagine how many schools could have been built in 30 years if the government were serious about transformation. But unfortunately, in the eyes of politicians, an educated society is a dangerous one.
@Kaytobe2 @GodPenuel @JackPosobiec You’re proving my point though, I was making an example based off of Pen’s original figures posted, that without any other information, numbers can be misinterpreted.
@JDVWK2000 @djinn_the @GodPenuel @JackPosobiec What propaganda? Because im white? If you read the thread properly you would understand that my comments were about how numbers could be misunderstood without context. It was merely an example.
@GodPenuel @JackPosobiec My point is that numbers don’t always tell the full story. For instance, the way I showed the numbers shows that, by race, black South Africans hold more jobs and account for more total wage income. Viewing it that way changes the story. An example of how context is important.
@GodPenuel @JackPosobiec Based on the numbers above, percentages and averages can be deceptive:
Black ave wage of $200 x 50mil=$10B
White ave wage $660 x 5mil = $3.3B
Black unemployment 50% of 50mil = 25mil employed
White unemployment 8% of 5mil = 4.6mil employed
No’s can fit any narrative Just an eg.
The Redshift IPR in the viewport is kind of blowing me away. Seeing near-final renders update in real time while tweaking shaders and lighting feels like magic. It's hard to go back once you’ve seen this in action. I might even remove the IPR window from my layout
