@Fergie_CJ@spinningjoe YOU are part of the problem if you don't even understand the realities of ferry economics: Newcastle-Norway ferries folded 'cause low commercial and passenger demand made it financially unviable. Shetland has far less traffic, making a regular route there even more unrealistic
@koko38416488@WSJ@WSJFreeEx@WSJopinion@MattHennessey "China is a huge threat to US dominance in all sectors" -CCP propaganda. "China is not a threat anywhere" -CCP disinformation. Crystal clear logic there, Sherlock.
@RubiconTrading@0xSero Please do tell how deepseek feeds anything back to "their government" when I'm running it 100% locally? Or how that is different from ChatGPT, Gemini and Co. running feeding everything back to the US.
@Aviation_Intel It's worth noting that these organizations could face a significant loss of credibility if their original source pictures were directly contradicted by imagery from Chinese firms. As much as they're reliant on the US government they also need commercial tasking to function.
@_Drew_00@RupprechtDeino There's not a single nuclear carrier in existence that has 2 islands. Only convetionally powered carriers/LHDs do because they're conventionally powered. So yes, it's directly related to the 004 being a CVN. But please do explain carriers to someone who served on 2 of them.
@Stophetfakenews@clashreport Funny how the cartoon leaves out the 2022/23 energy crisis when half of Franceβs nuclear fleet was offline for repairs and German renewables literally kept the lights on in Paris. Interdependency works both ways.
@Notz888@tphuang And what happens if Trump doesn't like that and declares Qatar and Dubai Terror sympathizers and bans them from the US financial service? It would be close to the end for those players. You don't have to consider this but the head of a state does.
@SamFisher10k@Aviation_Intel The chance that you pulled that number from your butt without any understanding or knowledge of Xi or the PLA's current objectives and thoughts?
Absolutely 100% probability now.
@shashj@CrispinBurke Your math would be correct if Iran wouldn't suffer any attrition if it wouldn't use their drones. But the US/Israel attacks would take place regardless so the cost of the destruction should not be on the ledger when it comes to calculating the drone offense vs. defense costs.
@RnaudBertrand@RichardC19196 It's also especially rich that that criticism comes from a company that illegally downloaded and used literally millions of copyrighted works through pirating websites.
@pati_marins64 Wtf are you even talking about? This isn't a prototype of anything. It's a model of an airplane from a Chinese book and TV show that is akin to Top Gun. That's it. It has nothing to do with any real military. You're losing all your credibility.
@AdarshaMarpalli@NoWar448@fbermingham Neither of the companies are publicly held. They were both held 100% privately. So what are you even talking about?
@AlexLuck9 Have yet to see think tank people articulate why it would make sense for China to take any military steps unless there's a substantial change with Taiwan's status. What's the downside to waiting and slowly building up? Taiwan isn't really getting more ready and neither is the US.
