We really enjoyed welcoming back our five excellent @rss_rcsi to present their summer research projects today. The future of @RCSI_Research is bright!
Well done James, Seán, Akram, Mark, and Kathryn 👏
Thank you so much @RCSI_Irl for this medal. My thanks go out to everyone at the @HRBPrimaryCare and my PI @FrankMoriarty, for being so supportive. Lots of brilliant presentations and posters, it's an honour to take part and represent @RCSIPharmacy students.
Thanks to all in the @HRBPrimaryCare for the fantastic opportunity, and supportive atmosphere. Truly an exceptional placement. Looking forward to working with you again, @FrankMoriarty this Summer, as part of the @RCSI_Irl Summer Research School!
Congratulations to Seán Coll for winning the best undergraduate presentation at @RCSI_Irl Research Day 2019 for research he completed on his @APPEL_Pharmacy placement.
Doing us all in @HRBPrimaryCare very proud!
Pharmacy students are not being paid for providing work of value. We want to help build a fair future healthcare system for Ireland. The health system needs us, but we are increasingly forgotten about. Please help us. @slaintecare@roinnslainte@HSELive#employeesnotstudents
Great to get coverage on air today with Joe Duffy regarding the new pharmacy course, in particular unpaid placements and increased fees. #employeesnotstudents@PSIRegulator https://t.co/5C9g8N1Y5X
Worked 400 hours since September with no compensation. I've had to work at weekends in order to pay to get the bus to placement and have something for lunch. Our fees next year are doubling to €7500 and they want us to work for 8 months for no compensation #employeesnotstudents
A mandatory Masters, with increased fees, and an 8 month mandatory unpaid placement. We’re taught compassion, but no compassion for pharmacy students it seems. #employeesnotstudents
I don't think I'd recommend anyone in the CAO system apply to be a pharmacist right now. 5 years of colleg, exorbitant fees, unpaid placement, huge professional fees and nothing in return but hardship from @PSIRegulator No hospital career structure.

https://t.co/3i8LKCLXgH Pharmacy students are in vulnerable positions where learning is not prioritised. Pharmacists are valuable, our contribution to patient care needs to be recognised before it's too late. #employeesnotstudents@SimonHarrisTD@campaignforkate@BrassilJohnTD
