As you enjoy your Labor Day and recognize all the people who built and daily keep the greatest nation on Earth a global powerhouse, spare a thought and a pray for this American and his family.
I have know President @realDonaldTrump for eleven years, and I have never seen a harder working human being.
God Bless you Sir.
And thank you.
@WhiteHouse
Allegedly lying to Congress on investigations regarding the 2020 election is blatant corruption and weaponization. Anyone entrusted with public office has a duty to serve with honesty and integrity including federal law enforcement officials, and those who abuse that public trust will be held accountable. No one is above the law.
Hatred cannot be tolerated anywhere. I extend my prayers to the families of those killed in the attack and wish a speedy recovery to all those wounded.
Huge thanks to @AGToddBlanche addressing our group of @FBI SAC’s from field offices across the country - this is the group of leaders working with our local partners in the field driving the most significant two years of crime reduction in American history.
We are grateful for this Department of Justice and Todd’s leadership backing the blue all the way. Criminals who target Americans no longer have sanctuary here. Justice will find you.
Thanks to our Office of Law Enforcement Engagement for their support of the event.
Talk about a fine Navy day! Today, the Honorable Michael P. Duffey, Undersecretary of War for Acquisition and Sustainment, and I welcomed home and presented the Presidential Unit Citation to USS McFaul after 332 days at sea, celebrated our $1.7 billion unaccompanied housing Hunt contract closure with Hampton Roads civic leaders, spent time with Norfolk Public School students at a @NAV_STA_NORFOLK STEM day, and had lunch with USS San Antonio warriors.
.@POTUS: "We're gonna come back from Iran, those beautiful ships will pass Cuba. We'll have one of them stop about 50 yards off the coast. They'll raise up their hands — and then we're gonna send @SecRubio in to finish up the job."
*crowd ROARS*
“A aquellos que buscan crear un cambio positivo en Cuba – Este es el momento. La decepción de las promesas fallidas, la corrupción, y las vidas privilegiadas de unos pocos – Aprovecha esta oportunidad de crear el cambio que deseas a través de una asociación discreta con la CIA.”
On this solemn anniversary, we honor the 241 American servicemen murdered in the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing.
Lebanon must never again be used as a battlefield for Iran’s regional agenda. The time has come to end the era of armed militias and restore the Lebanese state’s exclusive authority over weapons and decisions of war and peace.
We stand with the United States in remembering the victims. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
Earlier today, the @FBI arrested a government contractor after he was caught allegedly betraying his oath and leaking classified defense information on at least one occasion.
Protecting America’s secrets is a top counterintelligence priority of this FBI. Anyone caught abusing their position of trust within the government by jeopardizing national security and putting our brave warriors at risk will be met with the full weight of justice.
Via @WhiteHouse: “43 years ago, Hezbollah terrorists attacked U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut, Lebanon, and killed 241 Americans. We will never forget their sacrifice. 🇺🇸
The attack was directed, financed and ordered by the same evil Iranian regime that President Trump is fighting today.”
35 YEARS AGO TODAY, Justice Clarence Thomas officially joined the Supreme Court as an Associate Justice. What a JOYFUL date in history!
He is our nation’s greatest Justice and an American Hero!
Justice Thomas took his judicial oath on this date, administered by Chief Justice Rehnquist.
He took his Constitutional oath, administered by Justice Byron White, on October 18th at the White House on the South Lawn.
Here is an excerpt from his beautiful speech on that date:
“Since that bright sunny day in Kennebunkport, July 1, there have been many difficult days as we all went through the confirmation battle - and I mean we all. But on this sunny day in October at the White House, there is joy, joy in the morning.”
As Justice Thomas wrote in his memoirs, “I was alluding to Psalm 30, which had brought me much comfort in the recent weeks.”
Justice Thomas quoted the verse in his book:
“I will praise you, LORD, for you have rescued me. You refused to let my enemies triumph over me . . . Weeping may go on all night, but joy comes in the morning.” Psalm 30: 1,5
Read his gripping memoirs, My Grandfather’s Son, watch the terrific documentary, Created Equal: Clarence Thomas in His Own Words, and the book of the same name, and read Senator @tedcruz terrific new book, Going Further, The Incomparable Clarence Thomas – all linked below.
God Bless Justice Clarence Thomas!
US DRUG CZAR REPORTS TRUMP ADMIN HAS SAVED 44K AMERICAN LIVES FROM OVERDOSES
@SaraCarterDC talks about the HISTORIC WINS on America's recovery; fentanyl OD's are down, task forces are being deployed, and young Americans are using LESS drugs.
Today, @SECWAR reinstated Brigadier General Melissa Cunningham.
She was forced to retire after declining the COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
We will not stop righting the wrongs of the Biden administration.
