بلوچستان میں ماہی گیری صوبائی معیشت کا ایک اہم ستون ہے، جہاں 700 کلومیٹر سے زائد کوسٹ لائن پر آباد آبادی کا دارومدار اسی شعبے پر ہے۔ حکومتِ بلوچستان، وزیر اعلیٰ بلوچستان میر سرفراز بگٹی کے وژن کے مطابق، محکمۂ فشریز کے ذریعے ماہی گیروں کے لیے روزگار اور وسائل تک آسان رسائی یقینی بنا رہی ہے۔

اہم اقدامات میں 100 ایکڑ پر ماڈل شرمپ فارمنگ پروجیکٹ، غیر قانونی فشنگ کے خلاف خصوصی فنڈز اور سپیڈ بوٹس کی فراہمی شامل ہے۔ اس کے ساتھ پاکستان کی پہلی جامع فشریز پالیسی اور کوسٹ لائن ماسٹر پلان بھی تیار کیا گیا ہے۔

محکمۂ فشریز بلوچستان کی جانب سے ڈیمز اور تالابوں میں فش فارمنگ کے مواقع، اینڈومنٹ فنڈ، تعلیمی و صحت سہولیات فراہم کی جا رہی ہیں—تاکہ ماہی گیر باعزت روزگار حاصل کریں اور صوبے کی معیشت مستحکم ہو۔
