Should companies in BC be required to give ownership stakes to band governments in order to get projects built?

I think it's insane this has become the position of the BC Conservatives.

They are basically doing what Mark Carney's Liberals are doing for major projects.

Require companies to give ownership stakes in their ventures to band governments.

Why do you think capital is fleeing BC?

"Economic reconciliation" and "direct partnership" is code language for "paying out money to band governments so they don't threaten to block projects in court."

JUST SAY NO.

If a municipality was trying to block a project or another free market activity the provincial/federal government should immediately stop helping that municipality with any of their initiatives.

No more money outside of what is legally required to give and that is it.

Do the same thing with band governments.

Notice how I never say it's Indigenious people blocking projects, because they aren't.

The disruptive force in BC is not Indigenious people it's the Reconciliation Industry, which is the band councils, lawyers, activists and consultants who use their political power to leverage what is basically bribe money from the government and private businesses.

This toxic lawfare system needs to be ended and the way you do it is to stop enabling it.

It's over, no more communication, have a nice day, we aren't dealing with your band government anymore until the challenge to the new project ENDS.

This is OneBC's approach on these matters.

For all of us to prosper, including Indigenious British Columbians (of course), we need a truly free market economy not weighed down by endless consultations and court challenges to complete projects that get completed in a fraction of the time they are in BC.

The Reconciliation Industry makes a very select few people wealthy, and most of them are not Indigenious.

It's a grift industry dominated by Woke activists.
