.@danmcconchie As a constituent, I urge you to co-sponsor SB 1768. The state should cover 100% of the cost of infrastructure for people walking and biking when it's needed on state roads, just as it does travel lanes for cars and trucks.

@ReutersWorld This is an Ethylene Oxide facility... EtO is a class 1 carcinogen and mutagen. I would recommend finding the safest way to get out of the area. EtO is used as a sterilizer that can penetrate many materials, including your home walls.

For months, @SenDuckworth & I have urged the EPA to test for ethylene oxide at facilities like Medline in Waukegan. The @CDCgov data showing higher levels of ethylene oxide in blood samples nearby is deeply troubling. @EPA needs to wake up & protect the health of Illinoisans.
