As part of our fourth phase of the Cyclone Fengal Donation Drive, another 1.5 lakhs were distributed to 60 families affected in Mullaitivu on Dec 22nd 2024.
Phase 3 of our Cyclone Fengal Relief Fund was distributed to 60 families in Kilinochchi on Dec 19th. A total of 1.5 lakhs of the overall 12 lakhs raised were sent to those most affected by the natural disaster that swept the Tamil homeland in December 2024.
In the 2nd phase of our Cyclone Fengal drive, we provided relief to 90 families. Our gratitude to everyone who supported this effort and for their generous contribution towards alleviating the suffering of our people plagued by the recent climate disaster.

On Dec 15th 2024, 2 of the overall 12 lakhs worth of aid were distributed to our people in Batticaloa, the easternmost district in the Tamil homeland.

Cyclone Fengal Relief Phase 1:
The 1st part of the aid was sent on Dec 13 to plantation Tamils living in the up-country region. Thank you to our community and comrades for moving quickly to help alleviate the suffering and to improve the dire conditions of our people. 1/3
Although this region geographically falls outside of the Tamil homeland, the struggle for Tamil national liberation has always unequivocally included the plight of plantation Tamils who face a particular form of oppression and exploitation from the Sri Lankan state. 2/3
