This week our Birkenhead Vaccination centre delivered another 9000 doses to our community and will hit over 100,000 in total in the week ahead. That is an incredible effort from health workers.

@AllanahRobinson @chriswerry Working as a vaccinator we will absolutely not vaccinate a child that is under 12 even by 6 days as that would be breaking the current health law. Bring him back later.

We all want equitable access but negatively does not improve equity it actually slows up those on the front line as they are have to deal with all the misinformation.

@PierSmulders @LouieTheRed1 @nealejones I work at Birkenhead and a 60 year old bringing her aged Mother was not able to get one yesterday. The system is not perfect but people are working extremely hard to get people vaccinated and all this negativity from armchair experts is not helpful.

@PierSmulders @LouieTheRed1 @nealejones As someone who works as a vaccinator at an Auckland centre I can say that 20 year olds are not just walking up and getting the vaccine unless of course they are health workers or have an underlying health condition.
