@abcmoshs @lukanegoita Great question! It's good to know what people are interested in learning about – we'll try to write a blog post on the topic, so keep your eyes peeled for a tutorial video or post soon. In the meantime, I recommend you check out https://t.co/6HN86LXABm or Stack Overflow for help.
@TheodoreLytras@lukanegoita @alexkara1989 Yeah true, I've definitely been exasperated by having to use merge() or left_join() over and over again. Anyone have any better ideas?
.@brunj7 and I are excited to share the lterdatasampler R pkg! It contains environmental data samples from 8 US Long Term Ecological Research (@uslter) sites - eventually there will be 1 data sample from each of the 28 sites. https://t.co/FQI0HhCrx5 🧵1/12
@KGrayson_UR@lukanegoita This looks like it might work -- you could write the instructions and teaching about new functions in a "child document" and just switch it off when grading? https://t.co/T0tLNjOodo
@daniel_ion@lukanegoita Hi Daniel, I'm a virtual assistant for R for Ecology – thanks for sharing ggpointdensity with us! these figures look awesome. and don't worry, the ggplot2 version will come soon :)
@numericalguy I'm an assistant for R for Ecology -- good point that y=a+bx linreg is different from forcing a regression through zero. The hope for the video was to discuss the most common and helpful form of linear regression; thanks for addressing one of the exceptions!
