Excited to present (and laugh) alongside @PD_PhD. We couldn’t pass up an opportunity to share her experience, the @MforJ mission, and the story of what quality data can do!
In Greece, with my friend, Dr. Sema Taheri of @MforJ at the International Police Executives Symposium where we will be presenting on the importance of quality data in law enforcement. I will discuss how @30x30initiative leverages data to identify barriers to increasing the representation of women in policing through data.
Proud to work with @ACLU_CalAction@MforJ@jeffreisig and COPE to pass this needed bill to gather data from prosecutor offices! The more we know the better we can do to ensure our system is equitable. #AB2418
@SouthwestAir@akaBruno Does this mean both the TO and FROM legs of the roundtrip have to be before November 17th? or can your roundtrip start Nov 16th and end on the 19th?
Does anyone remember when LL Cool J was on Where in the World is Carmen San Diego? Or did I dream that once when I was 6 and believe it all my life? #llcoolj#carmensandiego#weirdkidmemories
I just had my first official meeting with @BJSgov Director Dr. Alex Piquero. What a thrill to have such an illustrious partner in science for DOJ and the field! Not to brag, but... I'm thinking we are going make a formidable team #SelltheScience

Something people don't appreciate about qualitative research is the amount of time it requires. Between scheduling, conducting, transcribing, & analyzing (& re-analyzing!) interviews; member checking; and being reflexive, it can take years to finish a study of 30 participants.
I've felt a bit under water lately (anyone else?) - summers are always busy - but knowing that tomorrow starts a week of deep work and discovery with my team has me a bit more excited for a Monday than I have been in a while! #teambrag@MforJ

My Wordle game on my phone finally switched over to the NY Times Wordle and I'm weirdly feeling a little sad...at least I reached that 100th game. #wordle
