@SadieMaeCPA I briefly had a client many years ago who said that his side hustle wasn't taxable ... because it was a side hustle. I guess that I missed that code section in college and CPE about side hustles.
@TaReefKnockOut The current market for nonrevenue sports is highly skewed by nutty oil barons. I would be more bothered that we allocated $1.5m for a softball player who will be coaching in high school in a couple of years.
I don't really give a crap about any nonrevenue sports these days, both men's and women's. I'm a big MLB fan, which gets me through spring, summer, and into fall. I would be fine if FSU fully funded football and men's hoops, got rid of all other men's sports, and funded the minimum number of women's teams with enough scholarships to meet Title IX, but with little NIL. I know this isn't happening and cannot happen, but I wouldn't care if it did.
As Allen Iverson once said, "We talkin' softball, man. Softball."
@RizzolovesFSU@Nolecast@BudElliott3 FSU/Battles End must pay a large suck tax to get blue chips given our situation, and it doesn't look like even blue chips are giving us the time of day now. Also, I doubt the big money guys wish to fund things at a high level until we change coaches.
