Economists Richards & Stiglitz argue that state and local tax policies frequently ask the most of those least able to pay via @nytimes. Let's focus on revenue raising options like @RevenueForRI@SenBillyConley @Karen_Alzate26 https://t.co/UZetiBkwlO
“Higher taxes on top 1% like @RevenueForRI's proposal are a good option to address pandemic-related state revenue shortfalls.” Proud to work w @SenBillyConley and @Karen_Alzate26 on a bill that is so important right now! See @iteptweets new post on why it’s right time to do it.
Thank you @SenBillyConley! for your support for housing in RI! Thank you for championing the eviction moratorium during declared emergencies bill!

If you're voting early in-person, you'll need to go to either East Providence City Hall or Pawtucket City Hall

The voting process this election cycle looks a little different than in years past. Let's talk about what residents in RI Senate District 18 need to know:

WHEN DO I VOTE? (applies for all RI voters)
That depends on if you've received a mail-in ballot, are voting early at your local Board of Canvassers, or are voting on September 8th (Primary Election Day)

The three most important things voters in District 18 (and in Rhode Island) need to know are:
1) When they can vote
2) What they need to bring
3) Where they need to go

Everyone deserves a roof over their head, especially during the pandemic. I'm humbled to be working on this legislation with @repgracediaz. Rhode Islanders deserve peace of mind when it comes to many, many things, and that includes housing.
Great fact sheet on new eviction and foreclosure moratorium legislation from @homesRI_ Thanks again to @repgracediaz and @SenBillyConley for championing this important protection for RI's low-income renters and owners. We will continue to fight for #homesforall
Tom and Gail, it means the world to hear this from friends like you. It's just another example I've always found such a warm community at Rumford Towers--a true representation of East Providence as a whole.
It was a pleasure to volunteer this morning at the Hunts Mills community garden with @repkazarian, @EPHistorical , and their past Pres., Nancy Moore.
EPHS continues to be a shining example of historic preservation and I'm excited to see what the future holds for this project🥕
