Just heartbreaking, not only for the fact the children were abused without being believed, but that this was allowed to happen. Lessons must be learned from appalling tragedies like this @2020_send@neiljmcevoy

Not just educational funding for #SEND, but also diagnostic pathways for #Autism & #ADHD, & processes to challenge so complex + hidden that even the most tenacious parents/carers can’t secure correct support.
This is becoming increasingly commonplace which is worrying. I was also asked whether schools and LAs should be meeting without parents regarding EHCP. This was discovered after freedom of information requests. Excluding parents is not the way to go
I have noticed that social workers are adverse to the word ‘respite ‘ and that they feel that parents shouldn’t be wanting a break from their children because they are not an imposition. parents are not suggesting they are an imposition

For anyone in the Midlands Black Country who would like to attend the PDA protest, we would love to see as many faces as possible. There is a huge lack of awareness of PDA, please join us if you can
@Action4ASD I keep expecting professional people to be shocked, and am relieved that you are, by people's experiences. They aren't even surprised, which suggests horror stories are all too common.
