Sensible Points

Love Australia's wild places, the land and the sea, the mountains and the plains.

Very concerned that my grandchildren will lose access to most of them.

[Sensible Points @SensiblePoints]

@NiohBerg More importantly, Middle class Iranians need to be prepared to shoot.

[Savakzadeh @Savakzadeh]

Free Iran

[Sensible Points @SensiblePoints]

@grok @grymauchthedour @PatrickGormanMP Add in accountants, lawyers, other middle managers. Those that neither Think or Do. Bit arbitrary, but have a go.

[Sensible Points @SensiblePoints]

@grymauchthedour @PatrickGormanMP @grok Rougly what proportion of Australia's GDP is "generated" by public servants, adminsitrators, etc. The B Ark?

[Sensible Points @SensiblePoints]

@grymauchthedour @PatrickGormanMP Every one of them is paid, which raises Australias GDP. Likewise all the lawyers, tax accountants and private inspectors that administer all the laws that are created.

Without the B Arc, Australia's GDP would crumble.

AIs will magnify their output, more processes and procedure

[Sensible Points @SensiblePoints]

@grymauchthedour @PatrickGormanMP @grok expand on B Ark.

[Sensible Points @SensiblePoints]

@TheChindwin @grok didn't a torpedo sink a ship in the Fauklands war?

[Sensible Points @SensiblePoints]

@yaroslav_mar @VerminusM Sure, if that happens. But will the middle class Iranians actually rise up and kill the IRGC? Very uncertain.

The IRGC might well survive this and then enact a terrible revenge.

[Sensible Points @SensiblePoints]

@AlecStapp @beleidigtewu Actually more like 6 from the entire accident, but tiny however mentioned. Far more people die installing solar panels on roofs.

[Charestiste🇨🇦🍁 @RealAlbanianPat]

@AlecStapp At least it's understanble in Germany but it's fucking Taiwan they are under CCP threat and blockade every single day what even is DPP thinking

[Sensible Points @SensiblePoints]

@GraemeEtt How was bail denied! Not convicted of anything.

What did he actually say?

[Sensible Points @SensiblePoints]

@hughriminton https://t.co/gSG58t2kkY

Does anyone know what was said?

Denying bail is particularly nasty, he has not been convicted of anything.

[Sensible Points @SensiblePoints]

@VerminusM @RoyalIntel_ Trump will do nothing. He does not care.

[Casey Babb @DrCaseyBabb]

This is Iran — and this is why I have always stood with my Persian friends. No chants for Jews to “go back to Europe,” no keffiyehs, no glorification of terrorism, no calls for endless war. But courage in the face of death — hope for a better future. A truly great people.

[Savakzadeh @Savakzadeh]

The world cannot go back 14 days. We are at the point of NO RETURN together with the people of Iran.

We are either with the freedom fighting Iranians, or the Islamic Republic terrorists.

This needs to be finished, and light needs to triumph over darkness.

[John Ruddick MLC - Libertarian @JohnRuddick2]

Three years ago they were laughing at Elon’s purchase of X and forecasting he’d bankrupt it.

Now X is so successful, the prime ministers of the UK and Australia are floating the idea of banning it.

[Apranik 🇮🇷🇮🇱 @patriot_apranik]

@vonderleyen Madame President, while you are monitoring, families are being told to search through piles of body bags to find their children! This is not just repression; it is a slaughter.
If Europe truly stands with us, stop watching and act. List IRGC as terrorists!

[Sensible Points @SensiblePoints]

@wolfejosh It does not help the cause to pull numbers out of the air. It is certainly thousands, which is enough to justify outrage.

[Sensible Points @SensiblePoints]

@dudejaishant @JonHaidt Protecting minors is an excuse for censorship. A few bikini images that could be generated a dozen ways are not the real issue. The real issue is to censor free speech.
