I've been a Trump supporter since the beginning but I think he inadvertently made a mistake that's likely led to a lot of death. Telling the Iranian people that "help is on the way" so keep fighting for your freedom, but not showing up, is costing thousands and thousand of lives a day, maybe even tens of thousands. If he said nothing, odds are many wouldn't have gone out in the streets to fight, knowing that overthrowing the regime with no foreign help was likely to fail, leading to certain death. At this point, anyone who protested and is still alive, will certainly be in prison or dead if the regime stays in power. These brave and courageous protesters burnt the boats and the only way they survive is if the regime falls - which will take Trump to give the green light. I think he will, but every day equals thousands more innocents dying. I hope Trump remembers his promise to them that "help is on the way".
