Walker has always handled himself as a consummate pro.

The agent comment isn't nothing. There's been a lot of "Seattle never made an offer" talk and criticism this week, but that's just semantics.

The agent knew exactly how high John Schneider was willing to go, and Schneider knew exactly what the market was going to bear for KWIII. So... why make a formal offer when you know it won't even be close?

I'd argue THAT is more insulting than actually making it in the first place.

@RichMarks3 There are def some other possibilities but 98% of pro athletes are priorizing how to make the most $$$ out of their careers & RBs play the fewest years, take the most abuse & are way underpaid for it.

He probably added 4-6 yrs to his career having it "work out" this way.
