Quietly stepping into a new chapter.
My freelance software engineering work is officially open.
Building with intention. Creating with purpose. Leaving an impact.
The launch is quiet. The vision isn’t.
The code has me up at night 😂 Not because I hate it, but because I want to get SO much better. Every bug, every breakthrough, every “wait, I finally get it” moment is part of the journey.
I genuinely enjoy the learning process. Still building. Still growing. 💻🚀
Currently diving deeper into APIs and learning the difference between public/free APIs and private APIs.
For the developers out there: What’s an API you’ve used that you think every beginner should build a project with, and what made it useful? 👀#SoftwareDevelopment#devOps
For this restaurant concept, I created 3 luxury-inspired color directions:
🍷 Burgundy & Champagne — romantic + intimate
🌿 Olive & Gold — sophisticated + earthy
🥃 Mocha & Copper — rich + elegant
I reviewed 100 junior developer portfolios this month.
95 of them had the same 3 projects:
-> Todo app
-> Weather app
-> Calculator
Every single one.
The 5 that stood out?
They built projects that solved real problems.
Projects they actually use.
Projects with real users.
A todo app shows you can code.
A real project shows you can think.
What project made you stand out? 👇
Started working through Codewars to sharpen my JavaScript skills.
Turns out knowing the syntax and knowing how to solve the problem are two VERY different things. 😭😂
Back to practicing.
Sorry I’ve been MIA 😭😂
JavaScript has me learning variables, operators, math, and all the little details that come with it.
Me: “It’s just math.”
JavaScript: “Let’s see about that.” 💀💻
JavaScript question for the developers 👀#tech#SoftwareDevelopment
I’m learning let, var, and const and trying to understand when to use each one instead of just memorizing them.
What helped you remember the difference? 🧑🏽💻
Be honest 😂
