Calling out @transport_wales for a absurd Delay Replay situation. Claim denied because apparently the train I booked doesn't exist (we agree on that, at least), with no option to upload my booking confirmation, or speak to anyone without sitting on hold. Ombudsman here we come!
@GWRHelp I have a ticket tomorrow, Exeter to Paddington, on SWR, but the service is cancelled due to strikes. Website seems to imply that I can travel on GWR with my ticket. Can you confirm this?
Leaders who refuse to act to protect climate are committing violence against us all. Every single one of them should be fighting over defence lawyers as they await trial for crimes against humanity.
@Adam_Creme This is incredibly boring, but I only found after extensive research that apparently led bulbs are incompatible with older (or almost all) dimmer switches. All my led bulbs kept blowing because I can't pay £££s to upgrade the switches. Have to use halogen instead.
So this is Rod Liddle in the Spectator (apparently the *leading* magazine of the UK right), writing about how it's SO difficult to avoid being racist.

journalists collectively freaking the fuck out bc Owen Jones made the obviously true and obviously correct point that journalism at national papers is disproportionately posh and white and, u know, maybe it would be good if that changed, is the most unedifying spectacle isn’t it
If you think that the @BBCNews should have a rule that Think Tanks can only appear on the BBC after disclosure of their main funders, then please retweet.
(If there is enough interest I will set up a petition to the BBC)
Amazing news! The Met police have backed down and are allowing us to use a speaker system at the start of the rally.
This is down to the brilliant work of the incredible solicitor @ravina1k.
Tomorrow is going to be an amazing day! #TrumpUKVisit
The @metpoliceuk have suddenly denied permission for a stage and a sound system for the Trump protest.
This has never happened before and is an attack on the right to protest and free expression.
It's also been suggested to me that the Government are leaning on them.
So O'Hagan’s @LRB essay has been feted by a Tory thinktank whose magazine was once edited by a sitting K&C councillor, who also advises a cabinet minister, who is herself a former K&C comms director....the merry go round swerves again.
