Happy Birthday, Frank Hurley! 📸❄️🎉
Frank Hurley was the pioneering photographer behind the incredible images of Sir Ernest Shackleton's Endurance expedition to Antarctica (1914–17). These are some of the photographs that survived the gruelling expedition & made it back home.
This groundbreaking documentary brings to life Shackleton’s legendary heroics while weaving in the story of how his lost ship was finally discovered.

In Reception we’re being inspired by the explorer #ErnestShackketon who dreamt big at six years old and followed his dreams as an adult. He is helping us to REACH for our goals by being Resilient, Engaged, Ambitious, Creative and Healthy (REACH). @shackletonteach
It was really lovely to catch up with #geography colleagues last night & celebrate all the work we've done together over so many years. Thanks again for all the support.
& a lovely 'post-RGS' gift of Shackleton's dogs looking back at the wreck of the Endurance.
