So, this Kenyan comes to Uganda with Intestinal Obstruction. All the way from Kenya because the doctors in Kenya are striking. At first thought, I was hesitant to work on him to stand in solidarity with my Kenyan colleagues. On second thought,

@KirondeEdward @AKasingye Actually the guy told me that the judge asked him, “ Ani yasaba munne?” His response was that he did and on those grounds, he was imprisoned for 6 years.

So, I have this 22 year old prisoner on my ward under my care, when I asked why he is in prison, he tells me it’s because he had sex with a 16 year old girl six years ago when he was also still 16 years. Only the the boy was arrested, is it fair? @AKasingye
