@bandholz@AdamSinger Have you ever actually tried to start your own business? Do you have any idea how much capital it takes? To do something that competes against companies with multi-billion dollar market caps? Esp when they can manipulate laws, courts and markets against you? US hates small biz
@beaniemaxi The point of using crypto was never to be a professional trader. That was only to raise capital for development. The point is to use it as a currency for day to day life.
@JustAC4t I remember some libertarian congressman tried to pass a "legible bill act" that would require bills to be written more simply and make them easier to parse and read, but it didn't pass bc congress wants to be able to hide behind the complexity
@beaniemaxi just an unregulated casino where the scammers always win.
they took a good idea and devolved into trash to take suckers' money and keep the rest away from the fundamental value of crypto
I love memes, but I hate memecoins. I hate the fact that random groups of traders can monetize IP that they didn’t create. And to make matters worse, they typically do it through insider cabal pump and dumps. Which creates carnage to the general crypto public that isn’t in on it.

People looking for a theory of everything that doesn’t include biology are just trying to one up Einstein (which is stupid) when really they should be extending Darwin. A theory of everything that doesn’t include the origin of the observer is a theory of nothing.
The unfathomable inefficiency of artists posting the same image, writers posting the same opinions, activists posting the same slogans daily in the hope the algorithm pays attention this time
The reason this generation is inclined to want to destroy everything is because they have no stake in the future; no children, no assets, no legacy.
The latter is a product of switching from positive sum symbiotic collaborative growth to zero sum status games.
Dropkick Murphys' Ken Casey believes America is in a "class war, not a political war. We are being tricked to fight amongst each other so that the ultra wealthy can milk us of everything we have" → https://t.co/QYeqa4OAhg
Interesting to see progressive corners start arguing for opt-outs now.
This is the exact argument we were crucified for 2 years ago, and will likely be commonplace amongst activists once it is too late to do anything about it.
