Congratulations to @qicong_sheng , on his important #JACCAdvances work showing another side of the GDMT challenge! 👏

Together, these studies highlight complementary opportunities to improve GDMT delivery:

🔹 In >50,000 older adults hospitalized with HFrEF, optimal quadruple GDMT was projected to reduce hospitalization-related spending by ~$9,780 per patient over 1 year.
🔹 Many lower-cost quadruple-therapy regimens could fully offset their medication costs and result in net savings.

🔹 Qicong’s work showed that proactive, dashboard-directed outreach can identify patients with important treatment gaps and enable GDMT initiation or optimization.
🔹 Among eligible patients, overall GDMT and SGLT2i optimization significantly improved, supporting a shift from reactive care toward proactive population-health management.
