@SantoroSystems@solarbenchmark TACC and Auto steer on Teslas is horrendous. It’s embarrassing how poorly it performs. We have a 21 rav4 LE and a 23 Model Y DM. I’ll take Toyotas standard radar cruise control and lane trace assist any day over Teslas. Phantom braking, cant change lanes without disabling first.
@RebekkaAdams198@ZacKaizen@N0RINCO@MatrixMysteries Condos seem to fit maybe based on purchase price, but when you add on the $400 - $700 a month “HOA” fees its the same payment as having bought a much more expensive house with a small or no HOA fee.
In follow up to my recent issue with @Tesla@elonmusk . I spent some time on Thanksgiving checking all my filters. All 6 of them are old, dirty, and dated 2022. Tesla sold me a vehicle with old dirty filters. Was it even inspected/reconditioned?
I purchased my used Tesla 10 days ago. Since then the vehicle and the app are telling me I’m past due for cabin air filter replacement, tire rotation, wiper blades, and hepa filter very soon.
@Novoicetoday1@CaptRedRoach@SawyerMerritt I’ve used it periodically over the last 10 days. During which multiple times its made dangerous mistakes. It took the left hand of a double right turn lane and mid turn went to the right of the two lanes. It also came across some shiny road patch and slammed on the brakes.
@CaptRedRoach@SawyerMerritt For real! I just picked up a 2023 Y with HW3 and am on the one free month of FSD. It’s awful. I’d never pay for it. Let us have this one for free. Just for dealing with it.
@FollowAsh_ 18 hours, ~1000 miles in a day is my limit. Making stops for food/fuel/stretch along the way. If you’ve driven across the US in a hurry you have to do those days back to back also. Energy drink, music, podcasts.
@Tesla@elonmusk Tesla you so badly need feedback and to make updates to your used vehicle purchase experience and I’m told by your Tesla Support associates that there is no way to do that. So I’ll post it here and hope you’ll hear it.
I contacted Tesla Support to ask that they let me know and update the app/vehicle based on what services were completed during the reconditioning process. They told me that it’s part of Tesla privacy policy to not tell me what Tesla did to the vehicle.
Next, I used the app to schedule service for a crunching sound my steering column is making when retracting it. The earliest appointment available in the app at 5 nearby locations was 27 days out. 27. That’s concerning as a recent Tesla buyer.
