I wish to bring to your kind attention a serious and long-pending public issue affecting residents of Luhurapada Gali, opposite Bhagwat Mandir, Ward No. 16, Puranabasti, Jharsuguda – 768202.

The road is severely damaged and filled with potholes, making daily movement unsafe, especially for elderly residents and children. During monsoon, severe waterlogging makes the road almost unusable and creates unhygienic conditions.

The road was dug up in 2021 for laying a water pipeline, but the damaged portion has still not been properly restored.
Road encroachment has further narrowed the passage; currently, even a car cannot enter the lane, creating serious difficulties during emergencies.

municipal preparedness. Several complaints have already been submitted, but the issue remains unresolved despite the prolonged delay. I humbly request your personal intervention and necessary direction to the concerned authorities for immediate inspection and action, including:

• Road reconstruction
• Restoration of the pipeline-damaged portion
• Removal of road encroachments
• Proper drainage arrangements
