@EmiratesSupport Thank you. I leg was canceled. And the message when I called customer service said don't show up without all legs confirmed. When I apply for refund will it go on the whole itinerary?
With the sudden and devastating passing of Rabbi Moshe Hauer, I want to share one story of him:
The last time I was with Rabbi Moshe Hauer, President of the Orthodox Union, was at the White House in May.
He listened patiently as I was rambling about some silly political matter.
Afterward, he looked me in the eyes and asked me one question:
"Shabbos, are you learning learning enough Torah? Can I help you find a study partner?"
We were on the White House lawn about to hear from Trump and his only concern was whether Jews were connecting to their Judaism!
That's the kind of man he was.
I know for a fact he asked other young people similar questions.
He cared so intimately about the students on campus in a way few others did.
Rabbi Hauer's sudden passing is so painful.
Yes, the Jewish People just lost a leader, obviously, but young people just lost a friend and mentor.

Yochai Orlan:
If Rav Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev was here, perhaps he would say:
This year we had Tisha BโAv on Simchas Torah. Therefore, we should have Simchas Torah on Tisha BโAv.
@DBashIdeas@levidmorrow Yes. It might be that the push against Zionism at that time was specific to that time in history but that would need to be clarified by those with big shoulders from within the Yeshiva World.
@DBashIdeas@levidmorrow Why would we need an updated hashkafa if nothing changed in the definition of Zionism (dating back to Herzl)? Let's get a definition of Zionism and then we can discuss the Yeshiva World relationship to it.
@DBashIdeas@levidmorrow Perhaps the JO would have shared Agudah Daas Torah on this issue, but I can assure you that you wouldn't be happy. Read the sefer ืืขืืืช ืืืื, written by Rav Reuven Grozovsky, a Rosh HaYeshiva in Torah Vodaas and chairman of the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah. https://t.co/cXpwaxFmDz
The kids are so clueless they literally have no idea what and why they're protesting , but the chance to skip class, hang with the kafiya clad cool kids and scream against the evil infidels is just too much to pass up. Useful fools.
I don't recall going into the Passover holiday with such a feeling of anxiety and a fear of the unknown, and that includes the pandemic year, which was completely not normal either. With war, hatred, and hostages suffocating us, it just feels like everything is falling apart, and the Jewish people once again find themselves in the eye of the raging storm. And yet, despite all of the upheaval, in every Jewish home across the globe, the tables are set, the foods are ready to go, and that incredible indescribable feeling of joy and holiness is taking shape as a new Passover begins in just a few short hours. We have trained our whole lives for this moment of exodus, and God Almighty himself knows who is with him and his beloved people. Our enemies are circling like wolves, but God always saves us from their evil hands. That is the promise and the guarantee, and no matter who you are or where you are, we will all conclude our seder tonight with "Next Year in Jerusalem." (And if you don't, know that you're getting it wrong.)

The last time he spoke to his wife before he died, fallen IDF soldier Ari Zenilman asked for a Gemara Yevamos so he could review it. He was killed before he got the Gemara. In his memory, a shul near me is learning the entire Yevamos in time for his sheloshim. I have 3 blatt.
