And it get’s worse.
My cousin Shahrez’s 2 children of 4 and 6 years old are now missing.
There is no limit to their cruelty. Complete disregard for humanity.
The arrest of leader Imran Khan’s sister from outside her residence reflects the profound fear of the usurping and unrepresentative regime.
When governments lose public support, their only recourse becomes illegal measures and political retribution. Following the atrocities inflicted upon Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi, targeting family members through black laws is a continuation of this very fascism.
The fear of the public taking to the streets on September 27 has shattered the sleep of this fake power. Such unjust tactics cannot deter us from the struggle for truth and justice. This panic is the death knell of your downfall.
Abduction of Aleema Khan is being covered in International Media.
Pakistan is looking like Banana Republic. Dictator Asim Munir and Form 47 Govt are a curse to Pakistan. Bringing shame to the country everyday.

"First they imprisoned my father, now they are coming after his family." — Kasim Khan @Kasim_Khan_1999 on the arrest of Aleema Khan @Aleema_KhanPK in Lahore.
She was taken into custody today, and her whereabouts remain unconfirmed by authorities.

Today, my sister , Aleema Khan, has been abducted by police in Lahore. Our family has been told nothing about where she has been taken. Our family and lawyers cannot reach her.
This is the behaviour of a fascist government - abducting people, terrorising families and trampling human rights, due process and the rule of law while pretending to stand for democracy.
First they imprisoned my brother imran khan . Now they are coming after his family.
We demand immediate access to her for her family and lawyers, full disclosure of where she is being held, and her immediate release.
The world cannot keep looking away from what is happening in Pakistan.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan remains arbitrarily detained, and now, the political crackdown has escalated to family members: his sister Aleema Khan was taken into custody in Lahore by Pakistan's military regime under preventive detention laws (MPO) to suppress advocacy ahead of planned peaceful demonstrations.
The deployment of state power to silence political opponents and their families represents the historically worst form of fascism in the country and is becoming a norm under #AsimLaw
Today, my aunt, Aleema Khan, has been abducted by police in Lahore. Our family has been told nothing about where she has been taken. Her family and lawyers cannot reach her.

The sons of Imran Khan have accused Pakistan’s powerful army chief of a “personal vendetta” against the incarcerated former prime minister and expressed fears their father is being “slowly killed” in prison. https://t.co/Epr4FVUo6k

Pakistan: “A lion trapped in a cage: Imran Khan’s ongoing solitary confinement is an inhuman cruelty. The international order has remained conspicuously silent about Khan’s ordeal, but a coalition of cricket captains remains hopeful." https://t.co/h8kB2WaqzV
The ongoing detention and shocking mistreatment of Imran Khan is a grave violation of human rights, democracy and basic decency.
I reiterate my calls for his release.
Prime Minister @andyburnham and Foreign Secretary @Ed_Miliband : how much longer will Britain remain silent?
For three years the father of my two sons, and Pakistan’s former Prime Minister, Imran Khan, has been brutally penalised by his political opponents, in a personal vendetta by Army Chief, Asim Munir, which according to the UN, amounts to torture and which is now taking a potentially fatal toll on his physical and mental health.
He has endured 3 years of solitary confinement. For nearly ten months now his family has been denied contact with him. He has been deprived of the most basic human contact, denied access to books, lawyers and doctors.
The international human-rights standards are unequivocal. Under the UN’s Nelson Mandela Rules, solitary confinement lasting more than 15 consecutive days is prohibited and amounts to torture.
He has endured this treatment not for 15 days, but for three years.
Pakistan’s own Supreme Court has now intervened: ordering comprehensive medical treatment, access to his personal doctor, regular family visits and twice-weekly calls with his sons.
Yet those orders are being defied.
This is no longer simply a Pakistani political matter. It is a human-rights emergency.
He has deep and lifelong ties to Britain. He studied at Oxford University, captained Oxford University cricket and spent years playing county cricket in England. His relationship with this country stretches back more than half a century. His charitable activities were internationally recognised, and include building the only free cancer hospital in Pakistan as well as a university.
His sons, my two boys, Sulaiman and Kasim, are British citizens. They have been forced to watch their father’s health decline from thousands of miles away, prevented from visiting him, denied visas, publicly threatened by government officials with arrest themselves, and even denied court-mandated regular phone calls.
I have repeatedly appealed to the UK government to intervene. Purported attempts at back channelling have evidently failed. The previous Foreign Secretary @DavidLammy informed me in writing that Britain would not intervene if my sons, British citizens, are arrested when they travel to Pakistan to visit their father.
@FCDOGovUK: Britain must now speak out publicly and unequivocally. Demand that Pakistan comply with its own Supreme Court; restore Imran Khan’s medical access, his right to see his family, end his prolonged isolation and uphold his fundamental human rights.
Pakistan is a Commonwealth country. Britain has a long and proud tradition of standing against arbitrary detention, inhumane treatment and the denial of fundamental rights. Those principles mean very little if we invoke them only selectively and neglect them when inconvenient.
This an appeal to the new Burnham government to please now do the right thing.
The rights of political prisoners are universal, beyond Geography Government or political affiliation. Be it in India ,Pakistan or anywhere in the world, those incarcerated must be treated with dignity and humanity, with access to proper medical care, family and legal counsel, and due process.
Court orders must be respected and rule of law upheld. Political differences can never justify denying a prisoner his or her fundamental rights.
