DHS took this post down because of the immediate backlash and outrage. This is incredibly racist and should have NEVER been posted.
Anti-Sikh hate crimes increased 25% last year. Demonizing entire communities like this is unacceptable. Thank you to all the people who spoke out against this — we have to call it out and dismantle DHS.
@ajaysandhu1420 Bai ji I understand what you mean.
These are definitely challenging times, but I don’t think we should lose hope. Our community has faced much tougher periods & still managed to build strong, successful lives in North America.
The United States of America has institutionalized racism and our federal government/the Trump Administration is beating its collective chest celebrating and advertising it. The Sikhs I know in my community are among the most generous, honest and hardworking people. I would prefer any Sikh neighbor to the average MAGA puppet, supporting insanity and contributing to the destruction of the soul of America.
A government job for the victim’s son doesn’t magically erase what happened to his father.
You can’t push a man to the brink, watch him die then hand his son a job & call it justice.
That’s not accountability.
AAP was silent when they handed Harbhajan Singh the keys to PCA & turned a blind eye to his corruption.
Punjab wasn’t betrayed today,AAP sold it the day they sent corrupt faces to RS over deserving Punjabis.
We're going to make Anglophones more Francophilic and Francophones more Anglophilic.
We're going to unite the two solitudes and take our country back.
Together we can accomplish anything.

Still thinking about this bizarre experience from my last rental apartment:
My neighbor was a follower of the BAPS sect. One afternoon, they invited Swamis over for a puja.
As soon as the Swamis arrived downstairs, the elderly neighbor rushed into our flat and asked my mom and wife—who were just sitting and chatting in our own living room—to go hide in an inner room so the Swamis wouldn't lay eyes on women.
I had a dozen sharp questions ready for her, but my mom caught my eye and subtly signalled me to let it go.
Where do people draw the line between faith and imposing on someone else’s private home?
BAPS devotees visited the Eiffel Tower but demanded that female staff be removed during their visit.
The staff are furious & now they’re on strike!
