The Duggars did EVERYTHING conservatives claim stops abuse but, instead, everything they did fueled it. They helped shape one child into a serial abuser of children even though they had all these Christian cultural rules and strict faith. All it did is create harm.

I was not raised IBLP or IFB, I was in conservative evangelicalism. But I was adjacent to plenty of folks who thought what the Duggars were doing was the right way to go. Bill Gothard’s teachings also infiltrated mainstream conservative Christianity.

Pregnant people--if you have the opportunity to get an IUD at your 6 week postpartum appointment, I highly recommend it. I've always heard it hurts, but I had ZERO pain at insertion. Just light cramping afterward that ibuprofen knocked out quickly.

Apparently it is A Normal Thing to shake violently before or after giving birth. I have given birth twice and no one told me this, so I was freaked out, especially the second time when I had no fever but was freezing. Why is this not explained to us prior to giving birth?

Niloofar and Elahe are Iranian reporters who reported on the death of Mahsa Zhina Amini.

They are now in prison and could face the death penalty.
