The Supreme Court's recent rulings were sadly predictable for anyone who understands the hard-right agenda. Their goal has always been to install Justices whose job is to turn back the clock on our freedoms, on decades of constitutional decisions, and on our continuing struggle to “form a more perfect union” that includes all of us.

Let's vote out their political enablers and rein in the dark, subversive money that supports them in their quest to reverse a century of progress.

$760 billion in PPP loans were forgiven.

That’s $360 billion more than this Administration’s student debt relief program.

And, several Republican members of Congress who opposed student debt relief benefited from those PPP loans.

Some of the same elected Republicans who voted to overturn my student loan relief plan benefitted from thousands in pandemic relief loans to keep their own businesses open.

Those loans were forgiven.

Now, they refuse to extend the same relief to borrowers with student debt.

This is how fascism works. It starts off slowly with some seemingly extreme people normalizing rhetoric that demonizes anyone who is not the chosen minority and then they place their key players in certain positions and propaganda/fear monger tf out of us. Then all of a sudden, back to back like an avalanche, our rights are stripped right before our eyes. When we ask ourselves how Nazi Germany happened, understand it was NOT overnight. I hope we can connect the dots of understanding that fascism is the elite’s weapon against the ignorant/exhausted lower classes. It is the corporate oligarchy in direct action. It is white supremacist DELUSION. We cannot be silent. We must dissent. We must fight this with complete divestment from the institutions that uphold these sick values that do NOT represent the majority of US citizens.
