Many students don't realize that reading and writing matter in ALL subjects! 🤯 One Idea to help: When students complete a STEAM activity, experiment, or project, have them snap a photo or video and answer a reflection question in the caption (in complete sentences, of course!)

Teachers: Exit tickets are pretty popular, but may I suggest using ENTRANCE tickets. If older material is mixed in with the new, you'd be combining three powerful learning strategies--retrieval, spacing, and interleaving--in a single exercise!
