Director, Office of Intramural Training & Education, NIH. Loves science and enjoys working with trainees at all educational levels. Opinions are my own.
Our team was last or we were in the top 99% with room to improve. Just depends on our mindset & the story we tell. Today @NIH_OITE hosts part 2 of the resilient scientist series focused on cognitive distortions and imposter fears. Join us; deets here- https://t.co/Uzf2Sr4lFG
It was good to see so many @IRPatNIH trainees and staff out running and cheering others on. This is a great example of community wellness. #resilientscientistseries

Some of my own #wellness collage showing the people and activities that are part of my stress management routine. If we hit 100 posted or emailed collages I will make a donation to World Central Kitchen (almost halfway there)!

resilience course started yesterday. We had an excellent discussion with >600 trainees. A key point we addressed is what resilience is & what it is NOT. Silent suffering happens all too often in our community. Discussion groups are next week - catch up and join us!
Thank you all for joining Unit 1 of #BecomingAResilientScientist today. As we discussed today, it is important to find ways to take care of our health and well-being. Watch the OITE video below for some inspiration!
