Dahi Laila, Chairperson of the Pan-African Parliament Caucus on Youth recalled that the COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the critical need for resilient and adaptable education systems. She noted that for Africa’s youth, this presents an opportunity to overcome traditional barriers to education, such as geographical constraints, limited resources, and socio-economic disparities. Moreover, educating youth on good governance principles is essential for fostering a culture of accountability and transparency, which is vital for the continent's sustainable development.
