My Uber driver today asked me “if I watched ‘the game’ last night?”

I asked “which one?” trying to understand what he was referring to.

He said “FIFA Women’s World Cup.”

As a woman in sport, it means a lot to hear a stranger say ‘the game’ and refer to women’s sports.
