Before tonight's game we held a moment of silence in memoriam of Charlie Kirk.
Kirk founded the youth activist group “Turning Point USA” and had become a fixture on college campuses. Charlie Kirk, a husband and father of two children, was 31 years old.
sickening day. whatever your political beliefs, a 31 year old young man with a beautiful young family was assassinated for having an opinion that some disagree with.
We live in a really broken world. I am praying for comfort and protection for Charlie Kirk’s wife and two little children. I know people will have strong feelings and/or snide remarks. I hope you’ll save them in realizing this is such a tragedy regardless of your political party.
I have no words. I don't understand how to live in a world where someone would take a father away from his young children for having a different opinion.
