@arpitrage Correlation is not causation professor. There could be multiple factors including tariff, slowing economy in not IT sectors. If anything AI and ChatGPT will make need for management consultants higher due to lack of strategic thinking and implementation in the industry.

@alex_prompter You do know that the output the LLMs throw are super generic and not usable as a “copy paste “ in real world right? It does require a lot of human tinkering after to be able to sell it to an enterprise. Consulting folks with skills to leverage AI are more in demand.

@kimmonismus If someone believes this then they don’t know anything about current state of AI at the enterprise & neither know what consultants do. Too dumb to think AI can replace them in today’s world. NO ONE can prove that AI can even do half of what a staff consultant does at McKinsey.
