@Itz_zayyad1 If a kids parents never taught them to keep their hands to themselves, then that’s a them problem. My kids know not to start a conflict, but if someone initiates violence…well that kid will just have to learn the hard way to not touch others.
@dallasnews It’s just another indication that the majority of folks here do not care about anything but what is shiny and new. That’s very on brand for Dallas generally speaking. Downtown will be even more dead than it was 25 years ago when they built the AAC
@rjchoppy@BadSaturday1@aashishshah It is…but that’s largely because it’s up in the hills and surrounded by housing. The Valley View site is bordered by the worst highway in Tx (maybe America) AND highly traveled surface roads AND long established neighborhoods.
@Christhedude94 It’s a huge piece of land that is basically a blank slate…but it’s a future logistical nightmare. Right along the worst highway congestion in the city, no current mass transit and there’s nothing close by at the moment. AAC site was basically built from nothing for them
@gertteamo@jos3_avila@CityOfDallas Central Business District…which downtown will basically have none of now with the combined moves of the Mavs/Stars and AT&T moving their HQ
@ronrule No they can’t because
A) no one builds this anymore because it’s not insanely profitable
B) all of these that were built have appreciated to the point they are no longer affordable for buyers
@_JoeManzo@TheRobBrownShow This is ridiculous. It’s probably the reverse math, if you got rid of about 5-10% of the least effective people it would improve. But that’s true of all professions…
@TheMagaHulk Whenever someone spouts off nonsense like this they should immediately be redirected to their local school districts hiring page. If it’s as easy and awesome as you like to pretend…come on down. I’m sure you’ll be aces immediately and show how it’s done
@Wes41170749@AllDAYZ77 Not gonna get a huge argument from me…but considering how tight HHH is with the current regime, it does surprise me they haven’t leaned into that idea more.
