@language_news It`s just literally such a small industry ;-)
Well...if good for anything, feel free to send a DM anytime, for a chat or whatever.

@language_news ...& 2nd:
Not 100% sure, but could it be we had voluntary interpreting training together (it`s been well over 10yrs...the summer school uni courses). It was just a handful of ppl (new program at the time)?
Did Spanish (but translate mostly English now...German mother tongue).

@language_news Wait...I just had another look at your profile. Looks like you are 2 ladies...but you seemed so familiar. Then checked: you actually studied in Vienna! I`m sure I`ve seen you on a video for the EU institutions.

Also proves: There are nice jobs out there ๐ฅฐ๐ข
(Just wandering: What did the turtles communicate on that epic event?! ;-))
Have a stellar summer! ๐น

True for translators, too...
An employee costs a good bit of money - which every company owner/manager will confirm.
Contractors/freelancers are ALWAYS THE CHEAPER CHOICE! An expert is worth the coin - & sometimes even a job halfway well done already is...

Something I wish I'd learned much earlier in my freelance career:
What seems like a lot of money to you doesn't seem like a lot of money to a big company.
Charge more. You're worth it. You have bills to pay.
