Had an amazing time at Walnut Creek Wastewater Treatment Center. There were so many connections to AP Environmental Science & Biology. Thanks @MrsT0lly@MrsT0lly@klbsci for allowing teachers to experience real world applications in science. I was lifting a 50 lb sewage camera.
I know @SteeleThoughts and @ToddWhitaker must have had a recording device in my house. This is the exact conversation that happened with my children on a daily basis throughout their educational careers (elementary through graduate school application). #OnPoint#EssentialTruths
I’ve worked w a LOT of kids in my past educational work.
The ones who “act up” almost always have issues at home or otherwise.

@AOC This is such an amazing informative video. I am going to use it as an introduction to teaching Human Impact to my Biology and AP Environmental Science classes. Thank you for all that you do AOC.
Following my role-playing, I gave students a case study on Gaucher's and they had to develop a claim. At the end of the study, students asked me if I had Gaucher's Syndrome, they were able to develop a claim, provide evidence and reasoning.#theygotit!#claimevidencereasoning
@Gadoescience#Phenemonalfriday I introduced macromolecules, playing the role of someone that has Gaucher's Disease. I wore a tummy pillow which showed my stomach was bigger, and explained I had bruises and was really tired.
Another great phenomenon! It's going to be a great year. @motorcityimport

@motorcityimport @GaDOEScience This is an excellent phenomenon. There are several connections to GSE. I will definitely be using this one. Thanks Tameka!
Thought for the day: The more deposits that we make throughout the school day in terms of smiling, greeting, listening & talking to students & staff the more likelihood of a positive return on our investment....via #Culturize
