Here's what we can see from the videos of the execution of Alex Pretti:
Agent in grey disarms Alex.
Agent behind Alex watches agent in grey disarm Alex.
Agent moves agent in grey out of the way.
Agent then shoots Alex in the back three times.
@jamonholmgren People largely still just want things to work and are willing to pay for that, as a business.
Also, anything that touches a regulated industry (healthcare, financial, legal, etc) is just waiting for that first major fail to hit the news. That’s where I’d focus.
@jamonholmgren I think that we (as in devs/tech sector folks) are in a bit of an echo chamber and that the majority of folks, once they realize what it takes to build/host/maintain an app, will not want anything to do with that. The SaaSpocalyse is highly overstated.
@knewter Here's the video and my analysis of it: https://t.co/qHNy3zgWOp
Agent disarms Alex. Another agent watches him disarm Alex, and draws his firearm. The agent then shoots Alex in the back 3 times after the disarming agent negligently discharges Alex's firearm. Give it a watch man

Don’t let this White House lie to you. Believe what you see.
Alex Pretti was trying to help a woman off the ground. Then immigration agents tackled, shot, and killed him.
It’s time for them to get the hell out of MN.

From another angle, you can see the spalling appear on the asphalt as the agent who disarmed him negligently discharges Alex's fire arm. After that, the agent who watched Alex get disarmed shoots him in the back three times.
The initial shot appears to have been a negligent discharge from the agent in grey. These frames are taken from another angle, and are one after the other. You can see the spalling on the road where the bullet struck.
@mattbroadstreet@EndTribalism Here's frames from another angle. You can see the spalling appear between two frames when the agent negligently discharges Alex's firearm. The agent behind Alex, who watched the other agent disarm him, then shoots Alex in the back three times.

@EndTribalism@mattbroadstreet I created a thread looking at the situation from multiple angles. https://t.co/JJQwL4F8kc
It appears the first shot is a negligent discharge by the agent who disarmed him. He was then shot 3 times in the back by the agent who watched the other agent disarm him.

@carroll_darian@always_vote@CalltoActivism I think a defining rule when it comes to defensive firearm use is what they teach in CCW classes. Never shoot someone in the back. (I'd add, especially not while they are on their knees.)
@always_vote@carroll_darian@CalltoActivism Yup. Most of the shots seem to come from the agent that first shot Pretti. Watching the videos closely, you see the ND, then the agent that watched him get disarmed shoots him in the back 3 times. The agents disperse and then shoot his body several more times.
@carroll_darian@CalltoActivism Yup, the agent in the grey jacked ND'd after disarming him. You can see the spalling on the asphalt: https://t.co/YCd1eO3pid

After the agent shot him in the back three times, the agents back up. The agent that initially shot Alex continues to shoot Alex's lifeless body several more times.
A doctor at the scene signed an affidavit saying he saw 3 bullet holes in Alex's back: https://t.co/Bthw8QHnsT

@FrameworkWisely@adamscochran Alex's hands were held down by the other agents in front of him. His hands were not free when the agent unholstered his weapon. After the first shot, the other agents recoiled and Alex began to stand, before being shot in the back.
You don't need to defend this.

🚨BREAKING: NEW VIDEO PROVES ALEX JEFFREY PRETTI NEVER PULLED HIS LEGAL FIREARM🚨
In the video, you can clearly see an agent grab Alex’s legal firearm out of his holster.
That is the only time the gun is removed. And Alex never touched it.
They then yelled, “he has a gun!” and shot him, while he was completely unarmed.
Alex never drew his firearm.
Alex never threatened anyone.
Alex never even tried to reach for it as he was being violent assaulted.
He was not a threat, he was unarmed, and they shot him…
And they kept firing into his motionless, unarmed body.
They executed a U.S. citizen for legally carrying a firearm.
