@tubemapper I don't think that stations like Sudbury Town are as nice to look at as Leslie Green stations, but Leslie Green stations generally have awful passenger flow.
This thing both sucks in natural daylight in the day and also gives off a warm glow, that helps you find it, at night.
@every_station@GWRHelp@networkrail@networkrailwest@CrossCountryUK I really like the way that the bridge is symetrical...except for the fact that the seaward side has a big defensive wall next to it.
I've been watching this on the Dawlish Beechcam YouTube channel. It's been fab.
@jamieoliver You should talk to @ScotParl and @SeneddWales@jamieoliver.
They have the power to look after lots of the kids in the UK.
Then you have to shame Westminster into following their lead and doing what is right.
@MrAaronFoster@jamieoliver Jamie probably knows more about British school meals than you or I do:

We need to invest in the children who will go on to become the tax-payers who support government services.
@MaxFRobespierre Actually THIS flag represents the millions who died to keep the United Kingdom safe.
The Commonwealth Immigrants Act 1962 was a betrayal of "our people". We would not have survived WWII without the assistance of ALL of our people.
@tubemapper I like how you are almost at floor level. The last riser being different (for accessibility) and the orange noses on the edges of the steps make a really good pattern.
And I love the zillion rivets behind the tops of the handrails.
Is the QR code official?
@tubemapper@HamiltonWestEnd I wonder if there are any Hamilton adverts at the small number of right-running platforms, where the train might look like it has been fired out of the gun.
I'm not even sure how many backwards side-platforms London Underground has. I wonder if @geofftech or Jago have a video.
@LinusEkenstam@paulsalele This is just nonsense. How can it be 5x cheaper than trams to operate? Think, man
Start with considering the rolling resistance of rubber-concrete vs steel-steel
You can get all wanky if you want, look up Hertzian mechanics, but itβs easy enough to grasp at the macro level
@paulsalele@LinusEkenstam There is literally a driver in the video, waiting to take over when the "autonomous technology" decides to kill someone.
And the other "benefit" of traffic lights changing to green could be done with conventional buses and trams too.
It's techbro nonsense used to grift money.
@LinusEkenstam Your techbro proprietary gagetbahn system destroyed the road and was decommissioned:

If a tram system with rails had been installed, there would have been no damage to the road.
Conventional trams also allow the operator to switch between suppliers.
AI people are so thin-minded. Also they don't know about Google.
This thing has already been decommissioned as a failure. It wrecked the road it was on. #BuildTrams
@Wizards_DnD The @FRWiki has you covered, with the names of taverns and other places in Baldur's Gate:

The Blushing Mermaid is my favourite tavern.
