@alexfredo87 would be amazing to pipeline this through a delighting pipeline and create a mesh collider for a gaussian splat captured scene, append a lightsource and reflection probe..
@Heaney555@tipatat I cant speak to the quality of the demo you received, maybe it was earlier than the SDK 8i gave me.
I am only pointing out Today's Gausian video (1 Asset on a transparent Background) hardly feels worth your hyperbole given 4 assets in an unoptimized scene was proven 9yrs ago.
@Heaney555@tipatat I understand it appears that way, That was a 1080 rendering a non-optimized Environment with 4-gausian animations, but the in-headset FPS was 90. I think the 8i characters were around 30-60fps native.> compressed by VLC FPS > compressed by Vimeo FPS

I'm not sure that is true, as you saw in the video I had a 90FPS scene with (4) 8i Characters "Streamed" from the Asset folder to the renderer. 8i File Sizes were admittedly monstrous, but could be served remotely and didn't require preloading.
